SUICIDE IS THE 10TH LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH IN UTAH AND THE NUMBER ONE CAUSE FOR UTAH YOUTH. AMONG MANY SUPPOSED CAUSALITIES, THE MOBILITY OF SOCIAL AND OTHER FORMS OF MEDIA SUBSTANTIATE AS MAINSPRINGS. RATHER THAN VILIFYING TELECOMMUNICATIONS, THOUGH, UTAH INSTEAD LEADS OUT ON SOLUTIONS THAT REFRAME CAUSATION INTO INNOVATION. BY PARALLELING WITH THE METAPHORICAL, SUMMER WEAVES THROUGH NOTIONS OF A COMMUNITY’S AND AN INDIVIDUAL’S ABILITY TO TURN FRACTURES INTO TRANSFIGURATIONS, AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS INTO TOOLS OF COMMUNION: TELECOMMUNION.
