About Summer Anderson Thatcher

Summer is an award-winning US Navy Combat Cameraman, winning Military Videographer of the Year for 2007. After returning from Iraq, Summer labored years to regain mental and emotional power over traumas experienced in her unique “line of duty.” Turning anxiety into activism, Mrs. Anderson’s goal is to message on the indelible marks all media forms make on humanity and the media’s responsibility to use their privilege mindfully.
